After a heavy workload while pitching for TCU, Wymer pitched 12 innings with one save. Wymer struck out 15 in just 12 innings with the Riptide.
Wymer returned to TCU and was drafted in the 4th round (116th overall) in the 2018 MLB draft. Wymer signed a professional contract with the Toronto Blue Jays which included a $478,600 signing bonus.
