During the summer baseball season, interns should expect to be available two to three hours prior to first pitch (depending on their job duties and tasks) and remain at the stadium until released by management. The Orange County Riptide, a collegiate wood bat summer baseball team playing games at the Great Park in Irvine, California, seeks a Stadium Organist with strong knowledge and understanding of music who is also a skilled keyboardist.
The keyboardist chosen for this position will need a strong musical background, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take direction easily and quickly, willingness to work nights and weekends and have a passion for music and the sport of college baseball.

Learning Objectives:
Stadium Organist will learn to keep baseball fans entertained with music during breaks along with pre-game and post-game entertainment.
Organist will learn optimal times to play music and more importantly when playing music is inappropriate.
Organist will develop proficiency in playing traditional songs heard in baseball stadiums on a frequent basis.
By the end of the summer, the organist should have gained exceptional knowledge in keeping fans entertained at a sporting event and providing a balanced fan atmosphere and experience. Should this student pursue career advancement in sports, additional networking within the Southern California sports entertainment industry is available.
Because this position requires attendance at home games, (Approximately 20 games spanning from June through early August) applicants are expected to work four (4) to five (5) hours per game. This includes pre-game, in-game and post-game playing of music and keeping fans entertained.
Ideal candidates will have memorized traditional baseball songs like “Take Me Out to the Ball Game”, the “Tarantella”, the “Star-Spangled Banner” and the “Charge” fanfare among other typical baseball game favorites. Ability to take popular and modern-day music and convert it to organ music is a bonus.

The Orange County Riptide is looking for qualified photographers to capture images of game action, players, coaches and the fan experience at home and away games. Photography images will be used for publication online, in social media and used in future marketing materials. Ideal candidates will have their own photography equipment and experience in sports photography.
Because this position requires attendance at home and road games, (40 games spanning from June through early August) applicants are expected to work four (4) to five (5) hours per game. This includes pre-game, in-game and post-game capturing of photographs of team, coaches, staff and fans and other duties assigned by the general manager and head coach. Candidates chosen for this position will work within a team atmosphere with one (1) to two (2) other photographers. Road game assignments will be divided equally within the photography department staff. Any lodging and per diem costs while on road game assignments will be provided by the team.

Candidates chosen for this position will work within a team atmosphere with one other staff member within the same role.
Ideal candidates will be a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.
This intern needs to be age 21 or older by June 1, 2023. In addition, this intern needs to not have a religious or moral aversion to handling and working with alcoholic beverages.

The Live Game Producer is responsible for directing the PA announcer, video and scoreboard operators and broadcasters when to play commercials, make announcements, play live or recorded music, walk up songs for players and additional aspects of a live sporting event that enhances the overall experience for those watching. The candidate chosen for this role will be solely responsible for making the in-stadium and live streaming experience run smoothly and on time.

Execute the day to day of all pre-production changes prior to in game event presentation.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Previous experience as a production assistant a plus
Strong knowledge of the game of baseball
